Welcome to Trentham Bowls Club 

Located in the heart of Purley, Reading Berkshire Trentham Bowls Club was founded in 1957.  The club started as a social group within the Trenthams Company In 1978 spouses were invited to join,then opened to the public in 1982. When the company was sold, the Bowls hall and greens were left to Purley District Council, providing it remained for its members to run and enjoy.

We cater for most events and our age limits range from ten years to seniors - all are welcome

Bowls is a good sport for both men, women and mixed teams, there are games available most days of the week some of which are compeditive. There is also a social side in which family and friends are invited to join in.

Our club is always looking for new blood. We do have an open day, when you can come along and meet members who will give some instruction, every Saturday morning a coach is on hand to give some friendly advice. (an appointment by phone) which you can find on the contacts page

The club runs a anual bowls tour, Last years tour was to Tenby in wales you can see the photo's on the relevant page. This years tour is to Babblecombe, near Torquay.
